Young Australian Actor Hints of Bisexuality

Ellen-Fanning-Maleficent-Still-679x350He has worked with out bisexual Angelina Jolie and he’s just finished a film co-starring Ewan McGregor, an actor who has played many bisexual roles.

And, recently in an interview, 25-year-old actor Brenton Thwaites has hinted that he may have attractions to both guys and gals.

Thwaites played the Prince in the film Maleficent, which co-starred Jolie. In an interview with the Star Observer, he was asked what he looks for in a perfect partner. The actor answered, “Male, or female?”

“Both,” the interviewer said.

“They’re very different,” Thwaites said. Then, he added, “Do they have peanut butter in their cupboard?”

In his next movie, Son of a Gun, the handsome actor co-stars with Ewan McGregor. With bisexual roles such as “The Velvet Goldmine,” “The Pillow Book” and “I Love You, Phillip Morris,” McGregor could practically be a role model for bisexuals. He has said, “Through my career I’ve played gay or bisexual characters whenever they’ve grabbed me. There’s no room for those prejudices in this business, or there shouldn’t be. Maybe I’m just blessed by being able to do this kind of job.”

Thwaites has also said he tried getting job at a gay bar in West Hollywood when he first came to Los Angeles. Of course, none of it is conclusive until he actually uses the B-word.
