What Do Therapists Do When You Tell Them You’re Bi?

image-2There’s a great blog from 22-year-old Meghan in Michigan called “Through Laughter Comes Enlightenment” and she is asking for people to respond to therapists receiving bisexual clients.

Meghan is bisexual and she says “I identify as a cisgendered woman; she, her, hers pronouns are all fine and dandy. Feminist and p-roud. Please have no qualms over politely correcting me if I’ve offended!”

She found out that a lot of people have trouble when she posed this question:

PSA: When therapists receive bisexual clients and try to convince them that they’re actually gay or straight, that’s conversion therapy.
