Washington D.C.’s Center Bi Needs Donations

2137695_desc_1410320158.1993Center Bi, the only bisexual organization that is hosted at a BLGT center in the country, is seeking funds for educational material and outreach.

They are trying to make $3,000 in donations before their Pride Festival, and so far have more than $200.

Every little bit helps, they say. They are asking that people share the link to the fundraising campaign on Facebook pages and Twitter: http://www.gofundme.com/centerbinet

The group has many different kinds of discussion groups, meet-ups and educational campaigns. Center Bi provides support, community, social and educational events for the Washington Metropolitan bisexual, pansexual, fluid and queer community. The group is a program of the D.C. Center, Washington’s LGBT community center.

Their website fundraiser campaign says: “As we continue to grow, raising funds to extend our work is needed. We will use donations to provide educational materials, pay fees, do promotion and outreach, and promote events.”
