Schaeffer harps on the use of the common phrase “the Bride of Christ,” which was used for both men and women connected to Jesus. Schaeffer wonders, “According to nice evangelical standards, the Bible is odd. Sorry but it is. … So why do evangelicals have problems embracing the full range of sexuality?”
He quotes and analyzes certain sections of the Bible, and dissects certain phrases. Ultimately, he concludes:
One thing for sure– these verses imply Jesus either favors bisexuality (metaphorically speaking of course!) or maybe only women go to heaven to be his Bride. Either way maybe no one in heaven is married because we’re all going to be concubines (metaphorically speaking of course!)
Or maybe Jesus favors gay metaphorical sex, trans, bi sex, etc.

There are those who believe there is evidence to suggest that the very open nature and loving attitude of Jesus proved that he was bisexual. Some of the scholars have used history, and interpretations to come to that conclusion—and even from smart bisexuals.
