Romance Author Plans Young Single Bisexuals Game Night

Alex-Anders-pic-300x216Bisexual romance author Alex Anders is organizing a Bisexual Game Night Mixer on June 20 in the Los Angeles area, and it’s getting some notice. OKCupid and Buzzfeed are involved with letting people know about the event, and their Buzzfeed videos on bisexuality have received more than three million views.

“I am a romance author by profession, and it is very exciting to be able to help bisexuals find love in real life and not just in their imaginations,” said Anders, who is a member of amBi Los Angeles, which is part of a nationwide coalition of bisexual social organizations.

In partnership with amBi Los Angeles, OkCupid and Mix Professionals, Anders and the volunteer team have created a special night for the Bisexual Singles Community in Los Angeles. With bi/pan/queer/fluid/bi+ singles looking to meet new friends and possibly that special someone, the organizations are hosting a fun night of ice-breakers and games to mix and mingle. (CLICK HERE for all the details.)

He is in the process of creating more informational bisexual videos, and has his #StillBisexual one, too. They have a list of the videos that Buzzfeed have done on bisexuality. The first video was done in association with amBi members. They are linked below, and have all between 1.9 million and 3 million views.

OkCupid hopes to partner with amBi on a long-term basis, lett appropriate demographic members know about future bisexual dating events.

Anders said “It will encourage OkCupid members who are bisexual but closeted, to switch their identification to bisexual so that they can be kept up-to-date with this and future events.”

Anders is also an athlete and YouTube vlogger. He was interviewed on BiChat at about 13:40 minutes into the link here:

“If you know of any bi-sexual friends that are looking, please have them join the LA amBi community for the evening!” Anders said. “There’s no need to RSVP if you don’t want to.  Just show up on the day of the event!”
