Bisexual

Mexico

Hi, I‘m Rey. I am Bisexual.

I'm a short funny curly girl from Mexico, I love art and design, I can't live without music 24/7 and my family is the most important thing to me. You can find me in tumblr at reyreypelcastre. If I can help just talk to me. Ah hablo español y la comida es mi perdición.

What being bisexual means to me

It's my life, it's a part of me that doesn't scare me anymore

What I would like the world to know about bisexuals

WE DO EXIST

What was your path to a bisexual identity?

A confusing childhood, an adolescence full of fear and love at the same time. Tons and tons of talking explaining who I really am... Crying a little bit but always enjoying and accepting my bisexuality as a part of me.

What is the toughest thing about being bisexual?

People not appreciating your bisexuality. They’ll claim you do it for attention. To get guys by alluring them to the fact you sleep with girls. Homosexuals have told me that I don’t really like women, and straight people have told me that I’m just too scared to come out as gay. Basically, everyone is more knowledgeable on who you want to sleep with than you.

What is the best thing about being bisexual?

You never have to question your sexuality because you're attracted to someone.

How have other people in your life reacted to your bisexuality?

Some of them were shocked, but the ones who really love me just don't give a damn as long as I'm happy

What advice do you have for someone who thinks they may be bi or who is in the process of coming out as bi?

Just be honest with yourself and everything will be ok
