United States

Hi, I‘m Megan Marie. I am Bisexual.

I live in the DMV (D.C., MD, & VA) area. I am currently taking general courses at my local community college. I plan on transferring in 1.5-2 years to UCF in Orlando to complete my Bachelor's in Film Production/Cinematography as well as take classes to receive my A.A. or B.A. in Hotel Management simultaneously. I love to bake desserts, watch TV and movies, read YA books, and put up decor around the house every holiday. I'm following my dreams of having a career in the Entertainment industry (Music, Film/TV, YouTube) by posting videos on my YouTube channel. Most of my friends know I'm bisexual but my family doesn't. I tried to tell my mom and she just denies it by claiming I'm straight which I'm not. My friends still show me their full support.

What being bisexual means to me

It means that I can love who I want to love whether they be male or female.

What I would like the world to know about bisexuals

Bisexuals are human and people just like everyone else. We love both genders and we are still human.

What was your path to a bisexual identity?

My path is still going I have one by one told people I love that I'm bisexual.

How have other people in your life reacted to your bisexuality?

Most of my friends know my bisexuality. They still love and support me 100%. My family, however, doesn't know I am bisexual. I have not yet come out publicly about my sexuality because I want to wait for when I'm ready but I need to tell my family first and that will take time.
