Bisexual

United States

Hi, I‘m Catarina. I am Bisexual.

I was born and raised in Italy. I got fame at 13, and I have been globally recognized since I was 14. I'm a singer/songwriter/dancer/model and reality star. I had a very religiously psychotic family that I don't like telling about publicly. If you want to privately message me on facebook or on g+, I'll answer that for you. Or you can go to my site at www.catnichole1994.wix.com/catlagasse under the bio section and look at "my story" for a summarization.

What being bisexual means to me

Being attracted to boys and girls, but preferring one over the other.

What I would like the world to know about bisexuals

Everybody is human, we're no better or worse than anyone. We all have a story of our own to tell. If you're willing to listen, then great. If not, don't start causing problems for us about it.

What was your path to a bisexual identity?

I knew I was bisexual since age 10, so I followed that regardless of what people would think.

What is the toughest thing about being bisexual?

Some people disrespect you more, depending on the atmosphere you grew up in.

What is the best thing about being bisexual?

You have a lot more options in who you marry.

How have other people in your life reacted to your bisexuality?

Some good, some bad. I've run into a lot of people with varied opinions.

What advice do you have for someone who thinks they may be bi or who is in the process of coming out as bi?

If you feel you're bi, then ask yourself whether you are attracted to both genders. After that, ask yourself which gender gets your attention first and that'll be the primary one you date. If you're about to come out as bi, just say it, and don't let the negative people get to you.
