Hi, I‘m Gary. I am Bisexual.

I live in the county of Suffolk in England, my nearest town being Ipswich. I enjoy walking reading and listening to various genres of music. I look after the old folk by day and enjoy this very much. I am a pagan and this has helped me to not only discover myself but also to accept who I am too.

What being bisexual means to me

I had for a long time felt some sort of attraction to the same sex. This I thought at the time as perverse and evil, my Christian faith hasn't really helped and it was when I began to walk this pagan path i am now on, that my life became a journey of self discovery. At present I am feeling a lot more free and now don't worry if I take a second look at a particularly nice looking guy.

What I would like the world to know about bisexuals

It's not all about promiscuous sex threesomes of either gay/lesbian or straight. Being bisexual is no different from any other sexual orientation.

What was your path to a bisexual identity?

As explained above, becoming a pagan and beginning a journey of self discovery and acceptance.

What is the toughest thing about being bisexual?

At the moment keeping it under wraps. It's difficult, presently to be open about this. Only a couple of trusted friends know.

What is the best thing about being bisexual?

Feeling this is me, it's who I am and not worrying if I get excited by guys as well as girls.

How have other people in your life reacted to your bisexuality?

Of the two I have spoken to, they have accepted this and have not judged me.

What advice do you have for someone who thinks they may be bi or who is in the process of coming out as bi?

Be brave, accept who and what you are and live feeling free in yourself.
