Hi, I‘m Gege. I am Pansexual.

I was born in Los Angeles, raised in Lufkin and moved several more times before settling in South Central.

What being bisexual means to me

Being bi (pansexual, to be 'exact') means a lot to me. It means being part of something and leaving a mark. It means loving and getting loved from people. it's deeper than sexual and/or romantic attraction. Being bi is a battle in and of itself.

What I would like the world to know about bisexuals

Bisexuality, like every orientation, is real. It's not a group of people try to seduce people or to f*ck everyone. It isn't your neighbor trying to date you or kiss everyone they meet. It's people, who love and love so much. It's so many different things and we just want a place in the world.

What was your path to a bisexual identity?

It's still going and winding everyday.

What is the toughest thing about being bisexual?

Getting rejected by most people who think I'm going to cheat on them.

What is the best thing about being bisexual?

People! The community!

How have other people in your life reacted to your bisexuality?

Most are okay with it. Those who aren't assume I'm suddenly gonna want to fall into bed with them.

What advice do you have for someone who thinks they may be bi or who is in the process of coming out as bi?

Don't rush it! You'll get there and it'll be amazing.
