Hi, I‘m Veronica. I am Bisexual. Namaste! I am Veronica. I live in Oklahoma and have three wonderful daughters, two of whom are autistic. I love to sing and play guitar. I love to draw and paint, and generally make beautiful things out of whatever is around. Psychology and physics are my favorite subjects.
Peace, love and light to all creatures! Be blessed and be well.
What being bisexual means to meIt is as much a part of who I am as anything else about me. I am open to love in whatever form the universe sends it to me.
What I would like the world to know about bisexualsWe did not choose to be this way. It is not something that needs to be fixed about us.
Being bisexual is not a vice that God gave us to teach us a lesson.
Bi doesn't mean promiscuous.
It is not a mental illness.
What was your path to a bisexual identity?I always knew I liked woman just as much as men. My parents are still in denial, but I told them I was bi when I was in high school.
What is the toughest thing about being bisexual? The toughest thing is people's assumptions that we are promiscuous.
What is the best thing about being bisexual?Being open to love in whatever form the universe sends it to me. Living that way is so much less stressful than trying to be what is "supposed to be" normal.
How have other people in your life reacted to your bisexuality?People have laughed at me, ignored me, rejected me, or called me a whore. But, I have also been loved and accepted by caring people with open minds.
What advice do you have for someone who thinks they may be bi or who is in the process of coming out as bi?You are as God/the universe intended. There are no accidents and no coincidences. Be exactly as you want to be, without fear, because you are beautiful just the way you are.
