Is Identifying Herself as Pansexual Just being ‘Divergent’?

shailene_woodley_divergent-wideActress Shailene Woodley, who is part of the sci-fi film franchise Divergent got a little miffed when the press dubbed her “bisexual.”

See, what she said was she “falls in love with human beings based on who they are, not what they do or what sex they are.”

Sounds pretty bisexual doesn’t it?

Well, she’s calling it “pansexual” and refuses to fit into any black and white world (shades of grey anyone?)

Her upcoming movie, Divergent, based on the popular series of books, occurs in a world where humans have to fit into specific boxes to be accepted by society. The young people take a personality test that sorts them into what they will be for the rest of their lives, and if you’re a “divergent,” then you don’t fit into any box.

Right now, that’s Shailene. She’ll date men, she’ll date women, she doesn’t like labels. Is it life imitating art, or art imitating life?
