Dan Savage Speaking Well about Bisexuality

WISC1Gay writer and journalist Dan Savage has been, well, savaged by bisexuals in the past for saying that bisexuals don’t exist. But, he’s changed his tune on that, and realizes that he contributed in the past to bi erasure and is against that.

But, recently by activists have been pleasantly surprised with Savage’s latest column that explains bisexuality neatly and points out that monosexuals can more readily identify their sexual orientation, and that bisexuals have the option of remaining hetero-oriented and not face the more taboo nature of their sexual inclinations.

Many bisexuals, as Savage, pointed out, only become self-aware of their own bisexuality in their 20s and 30s. By this time, many bisexuals find themselves already ingrained their previously established identity that many remain closeted.
