Bye-bye Bi.org, Want to Buy it?

Probably the coolest bisexual-related website domain name is becoming available for the first time in a long time, and it’s going on the auction block soon.

Bi.org has been an international bi domain for a long time, but it’s going away, and some of the bisexual community activists are concerned that it will become an adult site (like, perhaps, some of the alternative sites you may have stumbled across when trying to come to our site, Bisexual.org.)

The site is run by David Matthewman, at [email protected], who said that the domain will be going up on the market on March 13, 2015. He does not own it, and is not involved in the sale.

“While it may then take several months for the sale to go through, I am going to work on the basis that any time we get after that is a bonus, and act as though the domain will be gone on that date,” Matthewman writes.

A lot of the content on the bi.org site is historical and he says that only a few sections are still active.

(PS, Bioinformatics Research Group, is just one of the BiOrg places that could be interested in it, but has nothing to do with the site or domain right now. And, it looks like Bisexual.org won’t be putting a bid in at this time.)
