14430115156_4026ae4728_bThe book, “Barriers to Love, Embracing a Bisexual Identity” by Marina Peralta is now available in Spanish and is called: “Barreras Para Amar.”

This book offers a rare view into the life of a Hispanic bisexual woman. It is set in Mexico and then in California as the author takes a journey toward self-realization.

The author, a Latina psychotherapist, uses her own life story to educate the reader about bisexuality. She talks about her quest to accept her bisexual identity. During her life, she vacillates back and forth between her sexual attraction to both genders. She marries, has children, divorces, and has long-term relationships with men and women. The author clarifies how a bisexual has the capacity to fall in love with the person, regardless of gender.
