Bisexuality in the new James Bond movie? Maybe

Monica-Bellucci-monica-bellucci-14169152-500-375Super-sexy Monica Bellucci, who just turned 50, is being coy about the rumored bisexuality of her character in the upcoming James Bond thriller, “Spectre.”

She’s playing a Bond girl, perhaps Bond “woman,” and her character Lucia Sciarra is rumored to be bisexual in the script.

‘Is that the rumour?’ she teased a reporter in London. ‘I don’t know if I can answer that. Let the fantasies swirl around. People will find out the truth when they see the film. All I can say about Lucia is that she brings to life the idea that femininity can be a thing of strength. In life and in movies, femininity is often depicted as a weakness. But not in ‘Spectre.’ “

There are two openly gay actors attached to the film. Andrew Scott is in this 24th Bond film as part of the 007 team as Denbigh at MI6. Also, openly gay Ben Whishaw plays Q again.

Directed by Sam Menes, this will have  Daniel Craig reprising the macho action role for the fourth time, along with Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Rory Kinnear , Christoph Waltz and David Bautista.

Craig plays the role as macho as ever, but audiences were shocked when in “Skyfall,” there was a hint of a bisexual Bond. In a scene where film villain Silva (Javier Bardem) tied up Bond, there seemed to be a little bit of flirting going on. When Silva caressed the secret agent’s chest, 007 said, “What makes you think this is my first time?'”
